been editing some old and new shots i've taken recently… experimenting with different shapes and patterns i can create. having so much fun! wish i could do this for a living!

revamping my high-school photography.

this is a little video I made just to give a bit of an insight into the Frankly My Dear project i did for my major work in the final year of college. hope you enjoy... maybe once you finish watching it you can give your grandma call ;) make her day... just because.

mucking around with things for myself for once. i forgot what it felt like! all of college is now behind me... officially never having to look at the place ever again on friday! 3 MORE SLEEPS! cannot wait to walk out the doors on friday afternoon.

this song has got me through some serious churning today... not necessarily the song itself but how he creates it just gets me mesmerized... actually leaning more towards it distracting me from churning. ow.

the real stuff. this was an advanced type project... we had to develop our own typeface and apply it to a product / brand of our choice... being on my desk and out of the fridge for a couple of days, this project became a bit more on the repulsive side...  thank goodness photos don't capture smell :)

EXON clothing stationary set... with comp slip, swingtags and business cards... pics of the whole completed project will be up soon! Picking up new shirts over the next couple of days aswell!!!! so excited! stay tuned for this project... its going full steam ahead!

the completed personal branding project. business cards came up so good! went with matte cello glaze on them so they feel amazing!! so stoked with how my leave behind piece came together aswell... little mine desk calendar anyone??

so my major project is all handed in. wow. i may have gotten over the line only just but it is finished non the less. i crawled over the line, after a week of all nighters at college and coming down with laryngitis, non functional, crying over every second thing that happened with my whole class waiting for me to have a massive breakdown but i crawled over the line and that's the main part. it's done. there will be more pictures posted over the next couple of days but for now you can check out the little website put together for it. plenty more stories and info to be added to the site but its a start. phyew!

this song has gotten me through todays churning session... gets inside my head and gives me goosebumps. i wish i could shave my hair and look as good as Syron.. maybe in some crisis i'll give it a go.

finished the stationary set. day started off with ridiculous tiredness, stress and forgetting my lunch... major element of the stress being based on that reality. i was lunchless. until my pop came and saved the day. brought me my salad in a massive cooler bag with 3 ice packs in it...! yes pop! so feeling rather accomplished right now. turned out to be a happy smiley day...

these are how a few of the posters turned out... still in draft stage. not sure how i feel about them yet. finalise these kids when the project draws to the end i suppose. floundering around through so many projects at the moment just tryna get a heavy start on everything. countdown is on till i graduate!!! ooh la laaaa!!! :):):)

my first go at posca art. did a surfboard for a good pal.. had so much fun doing it... even though poscas seem to have a mind of their own at times. wish i could've done more colours but its posca's fault for being so damn expensive... i have a student budget guys!! :)

going through old albums of my photography from yonks ago. these were for a surrealism photography assessment from high school. meet my life-sized doll, miss ella. most beautiful model that i don't get to see enough of. i also did all of the hair and makeup. had so much fun with this one. would give anything for time to be able to do it again. hope you enjoy... i feel like chinese.

some photos from my cabin/den. the cabin/den where sleep will not be happening for the next 48 hours. hardcore cramming about to go down. if i stop editing photos i shouldnt be and start working on what i should maybe i wouldn't be in this position. youll all see some progress and less winging soon i promise.

working on my stationary set for 'the lost flock' project. a little bit stuck... maybe it would help if i could click my fingers and be in this photo. laying on that boardwalk thanks. hhhhhhh... maybe ill go for a drive this arvo. pretend like im getting inspiration but actually just procrastinate all the work to be done. then stay up till early hours every night for the next 6 weeks as i repeat the same procrastinating/cramming routine daily. i think i will go make some peanut butter banana french toast before i procrastinate. maple syrup and icing sugar too i recon. yes.

my beaut gal pal miss scout lette. got bored a few nights ago and i attacked her with makeup and a camera... this is the product of my creation. i kind of wish i had a project to use it in now. owh :(

so this is how my brochure poster ended up looking... i was happy with how it looked printed. a little rushed in the end but happy none the less. loved the creative license given to us with this assessment. had fun doing a bit of hand drawing that could be used, before this assessment it was almost like i forgot i could draw and use it in my designs. got stuck in a bit of a computer rut/mindset. glad to come back to earth... idiot. now i cant stop!!!

bit of collaging went down. i regret nothing! had so much fun doing a bit of cut cut paste. happy with how they came up, now to find something to use them on... maybe ill just print, frame and hang. yes. probably that.

so we had a week with an amazing fashion illustrator, Grant Cowan. He pushed me to use some of my old drawings and be a bit ruthless with them... I'd love to get a few sample shirts printed of my designs to add to portfolio as physical pieces, and I'd love most of all to spend my days creating shirt designs for a living... For now though, I make mock ups. haaa.

so we needed a vee-hickle for a retro-vintage/industrial style milkbar... lets just say i had something in mind before i started... clearly some photo retouch and manipulation went down.. no regrets!

 

my major project design suite options... still cant settle on a logo. this afternoons presentation will hopefully decide this!! i need water.

todays accomplishment. a coaster for double exposure photography, batemans bay. as well as a lovely new logo. i have a achieved a bit today, i think its time to go home. my head hurts.

playing around with some logo options at the moment... it has to work over an image. need to get some opinions i think. aaaaaaaaaah!

this is a lookbook i created for college. the brief was to do a catalogue, but i twisted the brief to something i would want to have my name on. the photos are sourced from http://www.fashionsalade.com/le-happy/ which is a site im regularly lurking through.. i love her style and think shes pretty mad. not to mention the photos are always top notch!
